A home is the most basic of human needs. We fought a war for independence to keep the Queens men from taking our homes at will. We fought many wars so people around the world can have and keep their own homes. What is really incredible is that we are watching American Idol and hoping for a lotto hit while Rome burns. Out of all people on this earth we should be the people most outraged by what is happening to our fellow citizens. We paid for those homes, over $ 700 billion and counting. Who cares how these poor souls got behind, we will have to foot the bill to feed, clothe and house them once they are kicked out if their homes.
I place the blame for the state of America directly on our elected officials. They unlocked the door and let the foxes into the hen house. For a relatively small enrichment to themselves they allowed billions to be squandered. The newest scandal is Wells Fargo’s big party in Vegas. They are saying that to back out of the contract with the most expensive hotel in town will cost as much as going. So what, if the money is gone either way they should not get a rewarded. They should have to stay home; the highest officials in the land should make sure of this.
I am not impressed with our new hero Obama Man. The inauguration ceremonies cost too much. I agree that seating the most powerful man on earth should have the appropriate amount of celebration but restraint needed to be displayed at the very first presidential event. Restraint would have made the celebration even greater, more pertinent and more powerful. Secondly he hangs on to these tax cheats offered as cabinet potentials. He should have publicly tossed them when their greed was first exposed. What did Obama think he was doing to continue to back these men? It was business as usual.

Hey, when it's your friends that run these large corporations, you can't really set any guidelines for them. I mean, you might hurt their feelings.
